I think my kiddos end up using cell phones almost every day. At first, the old crony in me got all cranky and thought that cell phones in school were the devil, but I quickly realized the error of my ways and now try to allow them whenever it's suitable. Online dictionaries are great (though online translation services are my biggest problem) as is access to certain websites and/or online quizzes/games (e.g. Quizlet, Kahoot). In some ways I now think "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right?" In other ways (i.e. online translation services), the curmudgeon in me arises and gets persnickety, so it's really all about finding balance.
