Imagine if you were the owner of a bookshop. Which philosophy on browsing would appeal to you more?

Browsing is fine. People might exit without buying anything this time, but that doesn't mean they won't come back and make a purchase another time.

Browsing is fine, so long as people have the intention to buy. People who are just killing time - and have plainly stated as much - would frustrate me.
