When they shoot up you arrest them and make them do detox. You don't watch them as they OD again and again.

Maybe we should just give them the drugs too, so they do't have to seal are stuff to pay for the drugs.

We need to get our heads out of our butts !!!!!!! These people need help that doesn't cost $$$$$$ there are so many that want rehab but can't or don't have any financial means to get help !! I have a 70 year old sister on Medicare that's a heroin addict I am on disability WHERE DO WE TURN TO !!! Our government needs to step up a helping hand for those who would want help !!!!!! so freaking sad

Seriously???? How about ARREST them for possession??? Get this killer drug off of the streets!!! Why on earth would we welcome it or condone it in any way???? If anything offer free treatment for setting up the local dealers. That's about all that I see as an option. I have lost a few family members and many friends to this KILLER and it is hard to get free treatment. Those who can't afford it buy the cheap drugs instead. True treatment shouldn't be substitute drugs like suboxone or methadone that our tax dollars pay for that often just get sold on the streets as well. It's bad enough that jail time is a vacation from responsibility that our tax dollars pay for but now we pay to get people high too? It's time that everyone relooks our strategies and finds one that works!
