After travelling to Western Australia recently we camped at many Council Caravan Parks which were very well run, full facilities and at a reasonable cost. We spoke to many caravanners and they all said if the park fees are not reasonably priced they did not spend money in the town but instead moved on to the next town or stayed at free camps in the area.We think Council should rethink spending this huge amount of money as the fees are sure to be in the higher price range and out of reach of the travelling public. Maybe Council should do further investigation before planning to spend this amount on a park and I am sure there are more suitable areas for a Caravan Park to be built. I have said for many years that Wagga Wagga badly needs a Caravan Park for tourists.

Yes yes yes. Keep the upgrade plan on track. Make the beach precinct the jewel of Wagga. I agree it is too unutilised. So long overdue. As for the money to spend, well its good planning for the cities future.
