I owned 2. 1978 bought new and a 1977 purchased used around 1981. I once raced a 1978 Cutlass Supreme V8, Gumball style from Gatier Mississippi to the New Orleans Superdome, approximately 100 miles..it was a draw. The 77-78 SX had 110 hp. Could cruse at 100 mph forever at 28 to 30 mpg. They were killed by unleaded gas.

My first car ever was the 1979 Datsun 200SX and the original MSRP new was $$6,229. Used in really good condition now the car is only worth $$2,525 and that's High Retail.I bought mine for $100 and it was almost worth it! Might be worth a Thousand dollars now, if you can still find any parts for it.
