I will not watch any NFL games this season. I am a Vietnam Veteran and what these players did this past Sunday was a disgraceful act and a slap in the face of every military person who is serving, has served and those who paid the ultimate price so these overpaid NFL players can have the opportunity they have today.
They can call the kneeling during the National Anthem what ever they want, but the plain truth is they do not respect this country, our flag and national anthem. I will not purchase anymore NFL products and I burned the bronco flag that I used to proudly display.

I will not watch any NFL games since I am deeply offended by the lack of respect shown by NFL players to veterans in their disrespect of the National-anthem. I will continue to watch the weather on 4. BUT NOT watch these terribly oppressed millionaires dis-respectiing my respect as an US Army veteran for the USA. Perhaps reading the US Constitution's first sentence is beyond their understanding of their citizenship.

Why should we watch grown men play little boy games when they have never served in the military and disrespect our flag? Most NFL players have been pampered throughout their athletic career, they are grossly overpaid, and are questionable role models. Colorado has many activities more meaningful and satisfying than watching professional football.

Good intent message, but wrong "national" stage and manner of punctuating it......upset many veterans (disabled and not) and long-term fans of ALL color, religion, sex, etc....all the NFL managed to do is make a bad situation that Pres Trump flamed up, even worse. NFL actions pushed the fans into the center of a very bad situation, and many will choose to stand and support their country, flag, veterans, etc. versus a highly paid professional team. Country needs unification, and these actions of the NFL teams (without NFL rule penalties), just forced the national problems even wider apart. Bottom-line:......sports needs to stay out of politics.....and politics needs to stay out of sports.....full stop, end of story.....Impact is deeper than any major sports organization that went on strike in the past, and great periods of time will be needed to bring healing .
