I was completely surprised to see your post on my recently acquired 1969 Triumph TR6. I have owned, restored and serviced more Triumph Sports Cars than I can remember over the past 30 years and I am fully satisfied with this car. It was a complete "fluke" that I even ended up with is TR6. The previous owner was a complete Gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. I have already started on the car and have full intentions of keeping it as my own personal car along with the others I have acquired over the years. I guess jalopnik.com not only surprised me with this survey, but made my day! Keep up the good work! Carl Butler / Knightshift Mechanical Restorations.

looked for a Triumph at a reasonable price for 2 years.
bought a Miata and no regrets.

This is an excellent find! Parts are plentiful for British roadsters, and this was the last of the true driver's sports car.
Have fun!
