Hi :) I love ALLLL the Apologizes (it always has seemed to me that this song in his concert line up has been so very under-appreciated) BUT... for some reason, and possibly just the taping angle, who knows, David's St. Louis performance of Apologize just SLAYS me in every possible way. This video is only partial (some of the beginning of the performance is cut off) and even has an angle that does not completely frame the "Almighty Archuleta Hunkerdowns" and YET...it SLAYS ME. I think the July 1st (1st performance of tour) was AMAZING!!!
When David 1st comes off the stairs and sings "It's toooo laaa-eeea-te... ohhh oh ohhhhh oh " it is like no other performance I have heard. There is a different softness but smooth note to his voice at the end that flows thru your ears like butter. It is incredible.
Then talk about the HUNKER-ing .... check it out. He almost kneels on the ground. YIKES!!! It was HOT!!!!
