I love it! I don't care if they add Cyrus being gay. I'm bisexual and I'm proud of Disney doing the!

Inappropriate... such a good show my younger sister loved it, but now feeling uncomfortable about this weird new relationship between Cyrus and Jonah.. like the drama of it... but Is it really necessary? It’s ruining the show for so many....

this was my 12 year old favorite show and it is very disappointing that Disney made Cyrus gay. Overall Disney has gone to far down hill to come back up.Disney was always a good TV station for young kids but now Disney is pushing kids to be gay. I am very sad that Disney feels like they need to put gay characters in their shows.THIS IS NOT WHAT WALT DISNEY WOULD'VE WANTED!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, you do know what I believe. My faith could be Islam, Judaism, or Buddaism. All of which besides Christianity do not support the homosexual life style. I could be a creationist, evolutionist, or humanitarian. Statistically speaking homosexuality accounts for only 1-2% of the human population. This is a fact and not meant in a hurtful manner, but it does not advance the procreation of humanity. I do not bully nor harrass homosexuals nor do I teach others to do that kind of behavior. That is wrong to do. However, I have a right as an American to NOT agree with it as you have the right to agree with it. I simply stated what I felt and that I would not support anymore Disney ventures because of their push towards promoting this life style. I did not denounce or say hurtful things about homosexuals. There was no hate in my statements. It is you that have said hateful things because some one did not agree with you.

Thank you Disney!! For those parents whining about it, turn the damn channel when it's on! It's not 1950 anymore. The world has changed. People are finally able to be themselves. Whether is be interracial couples or gay characters, the fact of the matter is that it's realistic, it's REAL life! Those parents that shelter their children from that reality and act judgemental are the parents who's kids grow up to bully gay people (as well as other walks of life). A child learns hate and judgment from their parents and THAT'S what's wrong with this world, not people who are gay or TV shows with gay characters! The problem is judgemental, hateful parents who show their kids it's ok to hate and judge others. A show like this is good to sit down and watch with your children and teach them love and respect towards EVERYONE and the different and difficult issues in the world (teen pregnancy, gay men and women, social and school problems, different family Dynamics, etc). I'm scared for your children who might be gay and want to open up to you. Maybe they are struggling or confused about how they feel and want to talk about it? This show is perfect to get them to open up about themselves or maybe about a friend or someone in school who might be gay. I DO NOT judge ANYONE. I treat everyone with respect regardless if they are gay,bi, straight, black, white, green, rich, poor, in interracial couples and no matter what religion they are! (etc..) Ya know what? I am VERY proud to say that my 17 yr old and 20 yr old are the same way! I showed them I respected everyone regardless. I taught them never to judge others. In school they defended the kids that were bullied. They made people who felt worthless and scared, to feel better and more confident about themselves. As they were growing up we watched Disney and Nickelodeon and it was a great way for them to talk and open up about school problems, being bullied, friend fights and so on. So, go complain to Disney and have your "I'm better than everyone, my family is perfect" friends complain along with you. This won't change a damn thing. The simple solution is change the channel-done deal. Move on. Even Disney knows it's the right thing and the right time to include everyone in their shows. To help stop the bullying. To teach love and respect no matter who you are. Why don't you spend your time and energy doing something good like that and teaching your kids to love everyone equally rather than boycotting Disney for making a show about real life situations. Get with the times!

The comments on this saying they enjoyed the show up until now truly weren't watching it. Andi Mack has always addressed important topics and current issues. Not to mention, Cyrus' character has always been gay. This wasn't a sudden change or 'hidden' in any way. The show was actually quite obvious about it. A lot of us are extremely happy to see such an important moment in history happen on Disney! Keep up the awesome work!!

    adena charlotte,
Neither I nor the comments before me mentioned Christianity. Why do you assume that my beliefs or the others before me are due to a Christian nature? You are wrong to assume. No one mentioned God, the Bible, or any other religious idea in these posts. Do not assume what you do not know!

It's about to get real. First off the shows plotline is about a mother who was having a sexual relationships with her boyfriend, WHICH FOR ALL YOU HOMOPHOBE CHRISTIANS (I am a straight Christian but not a HOMOPHOBE) goes against the bible. And this is a theme for the entire show even though it is pretty settle .what I'm saying is if u are a true Christian than u would have boycotted the show in the first place when bex goes against the bible with her sex before marriage. so when Cyrus goes against the bible with something he actually can't control it is not fair to say your boycotting it now and weren't boycotting it then. I nearly cried when I read the rest of you mom's comments that are basically suggesting that you are a better person with a better lifestyle becauuse you are not a kid with different feelings. Previous generations are better in a lot of ways gnite not in this way 100% ????

I am terribly upset about season 2 Andi Mack. I had eagerly waited to watch the premere. The introduction of Cyrus being gay is very disturbing. I feel that Disney is pushing this agenda. First it was in the Beauty and Beast movie, then in the "Star" series with a glimpse of 2 men kissing, and now this. Why is Disney promoting this life style? I do not intend to watch or support Disney anymore.

As the mother of an 11 year old that adores this show.. I feel that Disney should've been honest with their intentions for this show up front. My daughter is only 11 years old and in my opinion at her age this is not a subject matter that I believe is appropriate for her. I feel that the LGBTQ agenda is being pushed on my family through Disney's clear deception in leading me to believe, through what we saw in the first season...that this show would be family friendly to the general public and not serve as a platform for their own hidden agenda. I now have a broken hearted little girl at the loss of not only her favorite show, but her favorite TV station..so therefore, all her her favorite shows and ALL THINGS DISNEY UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! Losing a person's TRUST is the hardest thing to win back.

I think its a terrible idea. Disney is suppose to have a soft and sweet background. I had to check and see if I watching Lifetime. It's poisoning the actors brains and I do not Agree with it. Cyrus is a role model for other little boys. In real life people bully gay kids at school. That's not what Disney is about

IM SO SUPRISED AND EXCITED FOR THIS SEASON!
I think it is amazing that Disney Channel put through this gay character. To be honest i felt ot coming. Im a proud supporter of lgbt and i think everyone is equal, and i think thus is the biggest achievement in Disney history! IM AM SO HAPPY!!! #lgbtmatters

I don't think you should be having young kids act like they are gay. I'm not prejudice or anything
I just don't know why you want to ruin a perfectly good show with homosexuality involved!!!!!
Like I said I'm not prejudice I just don't understand why you want to ruin a good show for young children!!!!
