Joshua Moudy, Bro, chill, this is part one, a bunch of episodes are missing. They will be in part two.

It's a shame the discord episode is beating the most amazing episode... the Rainbow Dash episode! I love that one so much. Dashie's mom has got it going on!

I'm really surprised how strong people are pushing "A Royal Problem". It wasn't bad episode, quite in contrary, it was rather decent, despite few brow-raising flaws, but when compared even to some of the episodes listed above, like "Perfect Pear", "Celestial Advice" , "Flurry of Emotions" or "Discordant Harmony" (just to name a few) I don't feel like it was on that level.

How come "Fame and Misfortune" wasn't on this list? Is it because the brony fandom hated it? Was it too offensive to the whiny little babies who can't take a joke?
...Seriously, if there's ANYONE who hated the episode because they thought it was "insulting the fandom", do us all a favor and grow a pair.

So I first thought to vote for the finale, because it was the most recent one and it was great.
This is really hard, because Perfect Pear was soo good. However, "A Royal Problem", "Rock Solid Friendship" and even "Discordant Harmony" were really good, but for completely different reasons. I chose "A Royal Problem" over "A Perfect Pear", just barely. They both were well written, and had interesting stories that were not predictable as you would have expected. It came down to funny and epic, versus "real" and heartfelt. They both were amazing, and I would love to see more episodes use both formulas, but in the End, I thought the humor and fan service of "A Royal Problem", push it Just above. Though, to be honest, I think there was one better episode, but I guess that episode will be in the next poll.

As much as I enjoyed that episode featuring the royal pony sisters, Celestia and Luna, for me the best episode of the group is The Perfect Pear. For the longest time since we were introduced to Applejack and her family, we often asked about her parents. Lauren Faust's plan was to have us assumed that they just 'died' so to speak and there's even been hints that they are no longer among the Apples. But never had any of us imagined that we'd not only get an episode of who they were and how they met, but the fact that the Apple Siblings would also be half pear. In this process, we get a beautiful song performed by guest star Felicia Day, we even get a cameo from William Shatner, and even though it's that Romeo & Juliet plot we are familiar with, fortunately it doesn't include death.
Having said that, even though this was not the episode centered on 'how' Bright Mac and Buttercup (A.K.A. Pear Butter) died, the point of this episode was to show us how they 'lived'. That these two ponies loved each other so much they'd do anything to be together. And I am sure that they loved their children very much, though I'm not sure if they lived long enough to see Apple Bloom because it seems she didn't know them very well. But whatever the case may be, they lived happily up until either their mysterious disappearance or death a question that might never get an answer.
At the very least, if two of these episodes are moving on, at least Royal Problem is one of them. It's merely a few points behind Perfect Pear, that's all.

This is pretty pointless, nothing will beat Perfect Pear, it's one of the best episodes of the entire show! I'd end the whole poll now, Perfect Pear is victorious.

Royal Problem sucked. Plot hole ridden mess that people only liked because "Mah Celestia Episode!" It wasn't that good.

This is a toughchoice between Forever Filly and Perefect Pear for me.
