People with terminal illnesses, especially painful ones, who have no hope, should definitely have the option of doctor-assisted suicide. I understand the argument about the sanctity of life, and I pretty much support that when it comes to abortion, but doctor-assisted suicide is different. These people are lucid adults who want to go out their own way, with some sort of dignity still left inside them. What right do we have to say they can't have that?
