I have been extremely disappointed that kdat has yet to start playing Christmas music. I realize that some people hate Christmas for various reasons...maybe bad memories, the commercialization of it or just don't believe it in. I understand those positions, but don't punish the rest of us that love Christmas and view it as a time of traditions, forgiveness and togetherness. Regardless of your income, religion or social status- empathy and humanity costs nothing. Christmas music brings joy to people, I turned my radio over to kdat on November 1st expecting holiday spirit. I have checked everyday and have been let down. I too celebrate thanksgiving full of tradition, but I want the option to listen to Christmas Music as I prepare for all holidays and time with loved ones that is what I've depended on kdat for. I don't like there is this much controversy over it, I assumed you would want to set a presendence.... of joy, in a world filled with hate currently. Let's set an example.

Was disappointed the earliest option was the 16th...I was hoping for it to start on the 1st of November. I love Christmas and Christmas music makes me happy....it doesn’t mean I don’t care about or celebrate thanksgiving!

I love Christmas music. I do not think the week before Thanksgiving is too soon. It serves to remind me of all the things we have to be thankful for, family, friends, shelter, food...and most of all the birth of Jesus who came to earth to give up his life for ours that we have eternal life. If you can't be thankful for Christmas...nothing else matters.

I’d love to hear Christmas music on November 1st. My rule is normally to start listening to Christmas music when I see snow for the first time that year.

104.5 is my favorite station except at Christmas. I hate it when they play Christmas music before thanksgiving. I hear it before Thanksgiving i turn the station i come back but its usually some time in January or Febuary. I switch over to my online music or ill go am radio. I dont even go into stores when they play christmas music till after thanksgiving.

Christmas music is only played for a short amount of time so the sooner the better! We listen to Christmas music and still celebrate Thanksgiving!

I’m a country music type of girl but when the Christmas music starts playing on your station, I turn it and I never turn back until the day after Christmas. Bring it on! The sooner the better!

I Love KDAT and for the most part, it is the only station I listen to! However, if and when you start playing Christmas music before Thanksgiving, I immediately find a new station to listen to!! Sorry, but we choose to remember Thanksgiving. Plus, one can only handle so much Christmas music☺
