I eat tortillas daily. Prefer the handmade (who doesn't?). Have not found the small machine made tortillas to be tasteless though some are better than others.

I LIVE IN A FISHING VILLAGE, AND EAT TORTILLAS ALMOST DAILY, LOVE THEM AND THEY ARE LESS CALORIES THEN MOST BREADS. LESS SALT AND NO SUGAR.. THEIR MY GO TO FOR SNACKS

unless I'm sure a corn tortilla has gone through the process of Nixtamalization the risk of peligra is too high to warrant eating a tortilla and wheat tortillas are even worse.

I used to eat them every day but now only a couple times a week. I have noticed the quality of most has changed the last year or so. Now I see it must be from the cheap corn flour they use now.

M;y husband and I live in a small town in Tlaxcala where we enjoy fresh hand-made corn tortillas "a comal" almost daily. The real deal--they are delicious.
