we do have a feral cat that has been around for a couple of years , I made a enclosed shelter and has a heated mat , the cat (named skinny) loves it !! Hope it Helps Tonight

coldest temperatures I experienced were while in the Air Force stationed at Loring AFB in Limestone, Maine. Temperature were 40 below with wind chills of 70 below for two consecutive days.
