Been having dental work in Playa Del Carman now for eight years, excellent work. Dental cleanings only 45USD compared to 150USD in the state. MRI 200USD compared to states 2000USD. Just small sample. Excellent medical care in Mexico.

I would rather have an expert from Mexico that does the work routinely, and does a perfect job
Than one that does it only a few times a year.

State of the art dentistry by Dr. Lamberto Morales in Cd. Obregón. All specialties, large staff, crowns while you wait at about half US price.

Lived in Los Barriles BCS for 12 years (winters) and have had everything imaginable done. All good. Did have problems in Los Gatos Ca. Go figure!

We have been having dental work done in San Feilipe for tens of years and are totally satisfied with the level of care, convenience, and co$t. Getting cleaning annually for $30US. A replaced crown is $200US.

I have had good success in Chapala, Jalisco with my dentist. Referred by a friend. I lost 2 front teeth playing hockey in the 70's. Had a partial plate.
Wanted it replaced around around 2010 with Crowns and Bridges. The 7 teeth replaced cost me $7,000 pesos. At that time 1 Crown would have cost me $800 dollars in Vancouver, BC. Perfect fit and have never had a problem with them.
A friend from Calgary has been here twice to have work done and has been satisfied.
Have referred friends here to her.
Also have a wonderful Dermatologist and great Cardiologist here as well.
Very satisfied here with the Medical.

I have been traveling to Oaxaca City, Oaxaca to have extensive dental work done by Dr. Angel Gomez. Now, I wouldn't go anywhere else. See Dr. Angel's Oaxacadental website - he's not the cheapest...he's the best work for a reasonable price. Prices in the U.S. are obscene.

I don’t see any $$$$ figures in comments that actually compare dental procedures preformed I México, compared to similar procedure costs in the USA.I have friends that rate highly, Mexican dental efficiency & costs, but what are the cost differences? Numbers would be appreciated. I’ve been visiting & wintering in just about every state in México for the last 40 years, but luckily I haven’t needed any medical assistance So Far, thankfully. Let’s see some comparative $$$$.

I have been going to Mexico for dental work since 1985 and have received excellent work. I started in Colima but have now been going to Merida for work i can't get done in the US for reasonable prices. Much cheaper and a selection of well trained dentists.

I see little difference other than medical malpractice, and oversight. The dentist I saw in Leon, GTOyears ago had worked for NASA; the dentist I saw in DF did his residency in pediatric dentistry in Washington. Both were no less than excellent, the DF dentist had NO available for those with low pain thresholds. On the other hand, I saw two dentists in Veracruz who were the worse I have ever witnessed. I ended up traveling to DF for appointments...

I travel to Morelia from the States and always get dental work done. Outstanding Dentists in Mexico. And as Bliss Wilson says, Dentistry costs in America are criminally high.

Have All my dental work accomplished in Mx for the past 9 yrs. Check ups are done locally here in Manzanillo. Three implants performed with no repercussions by Dr. Javier Mondragon, SOE clinic in Colima. The best! And of course a bit less $$$ than the US. Just be careful when choosing your practioner, as some are cheaper than others..,you get what you pay for.

Based on recommendations, I had bridge work done by Dr. Angel Gomez in Oaxaca two years ago. Not only would I have dental work done in Mexico, i would come to Mexico specifically to have work done by Dr. Gomez.

I live in a small town in central Mexico and am fortunate to have found an excellent dentist, and I only pay about 1/10 of the cost in the US! Since I have had bad teeth since childhood, and need ongoing dental care now in my old age, it is such a relief to be able to afford the care I need. I am retired and live on a small pension, so paying thousands of dollars in the US would put me in debt (or I would have to forgo dental care and lose teeth).

Mexico has many excellent medical and dental practitioners who offer quality services at a fraction of the inflated US costs. If you are an expat, you ask knowledgeable people in your expat community or close Mexican friends. You use their recommendations. Dental, medical and medication costs in the US are criminally high. How do people protect themselves and their families there?
