Coach and player ejections in NCAA baseball games has risen each of the past 5 years as the number grew to 709 in 2017. What is the answer to slowing it down?
Every umpire must call the full strike zone defined and shown in the NCAA Rule Book.
If umpires refuse to call the defined strike zone, they should be fired.
Umpires should admit when they make mistakes to prevent coaches from going nuts.
Coaches and players must treat umpires with respect and not use profanities toward umps.
