Chesman's 9 losses in the last two years have only been to NY State Champions (3) and state place winners (6 from both D1 and D2). He beat the 2nd and 3rd seeds at States this year. Also don't underestimate the quality of D2 wrestlers. Both Kyle Dake and Nick Gwadowski were NYS D2 wrestlers. That said Coach Rodgers is correct, all three wrestlers had outstanding years and deserve all the accolades they get. Great job guys!

Rogers hands down deserves this title. From his junior to senior season he has transformed in a wrestling monster. Y'all better give him the respect he deserves. ROGERS for 1st.

No need to be taking shots at these young men. They all had outstanding seasons and are unique for what they accomplished. They are all worthy of the award. Vince, this is a tough call.

Rogers lost in the blood round 2-1 in sections last year, from that point on he became a beast he had a loss from Elijah Rodriguez state, and only had losses at eastern states and states, he never stopped and he was unstoppable all year,at states he lost to kids who both had 60+ on him. if anyone deserves this honor it is Rogers.

Jack Rogers deserves it hands down. His whole life revolves around wrestling, and this is his senior season. He deserves the recognition for his success and wins. The other boys can come back next year and get it.

Jhordyn only wrestled 1 section Champ other than Loew in states and he went 0-2 at Easterns. Jack Chesman is the obvious candidate.

John rogers shouldn’t even be on here, he wrestled his own teammate in the county finals, nobody knew him until this year and he avoided halil, im not hearing it. Did he even place in the section last year ? The obvious choice is jhordyn.

Um whos fault is it that he took the easy way out his so stop talking about him giving up weight. He didnt do nothing at states and if there was more comp at counties he wouldnt win. What happened last year no one ever heard of him before this year period

He has put many hours giving back to the sport and will continue doing so into the future. He is a great ambassador for the sport. He has made Rockland County and the State,of NY proud.
