When you're with your significant other do you hold hands in public?

I’ve been married for 7 years, and we are about 50/50 for holding hands in public. If we’re on a date night, then the mood is more romantic and holding hands/locking arms come naturally. But if we’re shopping or running errands, not so much because we have THINGS TA DO. Thanks y’all

Yes. My honey and I hold hands when we're out walking but most of the time we're in the car. He does it mostly out of affection and, for lack of a better word, possession. It's his way of showing the world I'm his, which I find refreshing. During the last 4 years of my marriage, my ex completely emotionally withdrew which included those little touches we take for granted--the shoulder squeeze, the elbow hold when you're walking up the stairs. I'm not going to air out my ex husband too much but withdrawing instead of telling me straight up he was through with me was super painful. When I first started dating my new guy and he reached out to casually touch me, I'd flinch because I had been unaccustomed to touching.
