Trading for a franchise QB and not surrendering next years 1st rounder is an easy win for the Jets.

Clearly the Giants will take a qb at #2 overall. No way they would have turned down this package from the jets to take Barkley or Nelson or Chubb. So obviously this means the jets felt all 3 of Allen, Darnold and Rosen were worth what they gave up. And if who they draft turns out to be wentz or deshaun Watson caliber then it’s a fine trade. Absolutely awesome trade for the colts though. So Allen, Darnold and Rosen should be locked in as the 1st 3 picks.

Or if the Jets don't get the QB they want they end up with Saquon Barkley which on the surface immediately makes their QBs better. And it is possible to trade that pick away to someone like Buffalo if they don't get the QB they want and they either don't get or don't want Saquon Barkley.

If you move to get a potential franchise QB then the trade is way worth it for the Jets. They must be sold on 3 QB’s to do thisbyrade. They won this deal.
