The mods have stated a new poll for the final, but...
1-Newtmas were well ahead and those votes will be added at end . .umm, weren't they the paid votes?
2-One vote per IP address doesn't work for those with VPNs, or change their address manually, I think.
3-Most of the stucky shippers gave up on a legit poll and left, so are unaware of new poll anyway.

I hear you. I think polls have become a reflection of fandom at large. There is so much toxicity in so many fandoms. No one "ships and lets ship" anymore, just tear down other peoples ships. I think polls have just become a place for opposing shippers to punch each other in the face, so to speak.
This years eonline poll had several big ships attack a little known (in the US) Turkish ship, especially as it went on to win the poll. The zimbio poll was inundated with bots. I guess it was too much to hope that it wouldn't happen here.

Why do ship polls always turn so nasty? My ship got knocked out a few rounds ago, I have no horse in this race, but you know what? I was happy we made it that far and proud of my fellow shippers. At the end of the day, this is an online poll. Winning means nothing, it doesn't even mean your ship is the most popular, just that you had more people voting. There are a lot of people that love ships but spend little time online, or don't take part in polls, or maybe throw in a vote or two then go on with their day. These sorts of things should be fun, just a friendly competition. Please think about how you're all acting here. Is this really the person you want to be?

@lou yes we know we've won, but we didnt cheat, both shippers are as dedicated as eachother and we both voted fairly, but stucky shippers don't seem to realise that. There would be no point buying votes, because we know that we could win another year. It seem -now correct me if im wrong - that because stucky shippers haven't been winning the final round that they have resorted to criticizing the opposing ship for something they haven't done

Stucky shippers, isn't it a waste of time hating on another ship because 'they bought votes' -even the admin has agreed they haven't- but it doesnt matter who wins its just a poll in the end and there's always another year for you to win. Yes, I ship newtmas, but that's not the point. I haven't seen many newtmas shippers hating on stucky - if any - and saying that newtmas 'bought votes'isn't going to make your votes increase, the stucky shippers are raising your votes, likewise, newtmas shippers are raising there's. Both fandoms are dedicated and that's the reason they got this far

1-Most of us marrish shippers are big stucky fans too.
2-Antivoting or having "allies" vote for your ship is done everywhere. It's not cheating.
3-Using bots, scripts or BUYING someone to vote for you IS CHEATING. It's the equivalent of an athlete using performance enhancing drugs. Can't really keep up with a bot.
