They disarm the people and immediately murder the dissidents and erect a roman red communist flag.

Canadian youth going out to protest issues that do not face them ridiculous. Please.. youth of Canada.. educate yourself on Canadian issues. For goodness sakes, I've organized countless protests in Ottawa in regards various issues facing Canadians and we get small groups of 10 to 20. Sucks that most Canadians care more about American topics than Canadian ones. Sad.

So an automatic assault rife is a staple that needs to be on every desk? Yes, root cause is a huge part of the solution BUT removing the ability to fire hundreds of rounds of bullets in less than a minute is a huge huge common sense solution to preventing innocent unnecessary UNNECESSARY deaths of young people. Why blame everything on the gun. Isn't it the idiot behind the gun the real problem or is it that someone is trying to cover up the real reason.
Put a gun on a desk it will stay there forever if a person doesn't touch it.
I will agree that we don't need automatic and semi automatic guns not even high powered
