Cape Breton has 17% of the population, but got 0.77 % of the equalization payment from federal funds,that is just criminal ,I think,they want an uprising in Halifax,maybe this is the right time to do it!

Yes we should separate from the mainland all you have to do is drive across the causeway and see the development being done and the lack of federal not provincial dollers being spent the Macneil government has no investment in Cape Breton compared to the mainland.

Cape Breton would be no worse off as Province than it is now. For years we have been ignored by the Provincial Government with the majority of resources going to the Halifax area. Cape Breton's treatment with respect to "Equalization Payments" couldn't be more unfair. Having Politicians in key positions has done little to change this imbalance. Desperate times require Desparete measures and now may be the time to pursue our independence.
