The road crews work so hard! with the money they have. They may wait until later in season to be more protective. I admire them extremely. Wish had money to give them hot patch.
It reminds me of my 4th grade reader, SINGING WHEELS, where the stage coach driver is making it over and around everything up and down hills with the coach on two wheels.
