Hi yes we have seen it 8 times 3 times at less than 20 metres once almost ran over it as it ran beside the car for 6 metres twice at about 40 m darting across in front of the car and once running parallel to the car at about 15 m and once laying in front of a rock cave on sa steep climb going out to our block all sightings were within a 3 km radius and 4 to 2 km from our block no mitake to what it is but how it got here we are not sure it is very shy body about 1m long tail a bit shorter 900 mm very thick fur at time of closest sighting black to deep charcoal definitely a large cat not a swamp wallaby sightings are from 2013 to winter 2017

2004 doing the fences on a still summers day and there it was crossing the Corang po road ....
Black as.... and shinny.. the odd thing was it’s head ,,,, it’s seemed odd , not quite puma looking
