I wouldn't mind if he did. He's pretty great on drums from what I've seen. And Pats great on guitar. It's awesome to see Rivers just jumping around acting like a complete maniac and enjoying himself. So yeah, I guess it would be cool if he stayed. But they're great either way.
Freese seems to have some serious drumming chops. He doesn't have Pat's subtleties, and his drumming doesn't fit the Weezer mold as perfectly as Pat's, but he kicks ass out there. I think he fit well on the songs he recorded for Raditude. Also, Pat is by far the most charismatic member of Weezer, and it's great to have him running around stage and all.
I would not want Freese to permanently keep Pat off the drums, though. I like it how it is.

Freese should never be in weezer. Pat should get back on drums and Rivers has to get back to playIng guitar. Then, maybe Rivers will start to write solos again! =w=

Actually, Rivers wanted to be "free" on stage and Pat wanted to do guitar, Josh only plays the drums on a couple songs, Pat does mostly drums and guitar on Raditude. Plus, Josh is a member of DEVO.

I havent heard him live to decide, but from what i've seen in the videos he quite good, Its good to see Pat do some guitar work. But if River wanted Pat to do Guitar then there must be a reason, so I guess its for the best!
