Going back to the poll I think we have to wait and see once people begin using the Kinect. I think the interest in Kinect is not self perpetuated by Microsoft but because Technology wise I think the Kinect is sure to be a game changer same as the walkman was, RIM phones were, and then Ipod. By the same token people are stupid and pick a good product when they see one. A few stupid and brainless people behaved in much the same way and look what has happened.

kinect i work for game and im telling you after playing this stupid kinect yea ppl will run out and buy it because its something new to gaming and it wsa the Nintendo wii that caused the mainstream buzz in the gaming world the kinect well sell simply cus of what Nintendo have done but when all these stupid people get home and realize just how dumb the thing actually is ill be the one at the till in January trading all them big black kinects in ha ha just like all the sony move we have traded in everyday move is a failure and so will kinect be after xmas you will see how the sales will dwindle then the 3ds will come out and wipe all the spillt food up off sony and microsfts faces lol and will once again follow on from its older brothers ds dsi dsi xl and sell loads and loads
