Too bad I was out of town when this poll was open, because I totally do not agree with Allison winning this over Robyn. Robyn is having an exceptional year and she deserves me to recognized more, more airplay, bigger shows... she deserves it all. She is ridiculously talented. Can't wait to see her in Mtl!!
Allison came fourth, not third!!! But that's not the point... The point is that she has an amazing album and millions of people don't even know about it, cause nobody promoted the poor girl's album. The point is that she's an INCREDIBLE artist, but don't get any recognition. The point is people don't even listen to good music anymore.... They listen to "singers" who can't even sing live. WTF? People who can't sing live, can't sing at all, period!
I think Robyn is cool and under-appreciated too, but Allison's voice is kinda better than Robyn's. She reminds us so much of Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin, Joan Jett's generation. In conclusion, Allison is so fucking under-appreciated and she totally deserves to win this one.
P.S - Enough with club songs.

This is a joke, right? Allison came third on the biggest television competition in America. The only reason I can fathom for her to be under-appreciated is that she didn't have enough votes to win! But I don't know how you can expect someone with that huge of a platform to possibly be "under-appreciated."

I love Allison's music, personality and looks. Playing her music lifts my mood and the meaning behind many of the songs like Don't Waste the pretty, Scars and No one Else fit every bodies life experience. More people need to hear her music.
Got to go with Allison! They are both very talented artists who have both been underappreciated, but Allison is my cup of tea! There are too many artists out there like Robyn. The music industry is bogged down with the electronic, dance, hip hop, disney pop type of music. It is refreshing to see & hear someone like Allison who is definately more rock or pop rock. The music industry needs more of these type of artists so that there is variety & diversity in music. I'm ready for the kick ass female rocker chick again, like Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Lita Ford, & Anne Wilson of Heart were in the 80's. Allison Iraheta is also a lot like Pink, a more current pop rock artist. I'm just sick & tired of turning on the radio & hearing nothing but this crappy hip hop thug music & disney pop music. There needs to be more variety & Allison offers that. Bring back some rock music damn it!!!!!!!!!!!

I like them both, but Robyn has been pumping out music since the mid-90s, and it is almost universally loved by critics and music aficionados. I do think Allison is not appreciated for her raw talent, but Robyn has been under under appreciated for at least 10 years. This year alone she has put out three albums that bend and reshape her music and is totally challenging herself as an artist and we as the listeners. She deserves this, hands down.
Well, I guess it goes to show that you may not know about Allison Iraheta and she's under-appreciated. She has been working and in the industry for years herself, despite her young age. She has barely had any recognition or fame, despite incredible skill. She's definitely under-appreciated.
Robyn has been a class act for years. totally should get this. if you've only been in the industry less than a couple of years, you shouldn't even be considered as under-appreciated yet.
