O Grupo de Acção Cultural (GAC) iniciou as suas actividades em 1974, logo a seguir ao 25 de Abril. No seu início o GAC era um projecto musical que envolvia nomes como José Mário Branco, José Afonso, Fausto, Adriano Correia de Oliveira e mesmo José Niza e Manuel Alegre.
O que se pretendia com este grupo era apoiar as greves e outras manifestações que despontavam como cogumelos.

Funny you should mention Bosnian's song for ESC, which is and will be performed by the greatest artist of Balkan, as a sleeping ballad. I would say it's the right opposite . . . At least Bosnian's song is understandable ;).
