Was Blake Griffin's "dunk" a dunk or a throw?

    A dunk, because he touched the rim with his fingers.

    That was a throw down. When the ball is released after it has passed lower than the line of site of the player...I believe it should be considered a THROW-DOWN.

    Not a dunk. Close & Amazing but NOT a dunk. Grazing the rim does NOT count.

    Dunk...but barely. Hand touches the rim during motion, so must be dunk. 2 inches further away would have been a throw.

    It was clearly a dunk since you can see his hand still touch the rim. Dwight Howard's superman "dunk" was a throw since he wasn't even near the rim.
