No. This idea is entirely unworkable. Profitable sports pay for unprofitable sports. No one would be happy dividing up the funds and paying players.
Maybe. But the devil is in the details. There would have to be a fair plan for playing players, and less profitable sports shouldn’t get short shrift.
No. College players already receive compensation. It’s called scholarships. The system’s working as is.
Yes, but only players of the sports that turn a profit should see any significant payments. Others can stay on their scholarships.
Yes. With the millions being raked in by universities, coaches and TV networks from college sports, it’s high time for all college athletes to get a piece of the pie.
