Mr Rolinson (IFeel) will give the City his best. He comes on board during some very trying times and needs all residents support. Over the years our City has used plastic to spend monies it did not have. Other administrations have played very loosely with Poughkeepsie's future... We need some common sense and honesty to raise Poughkeepsie to meet it's future.

There is only one county employee on the transition team and that's me. But I'm on the team because I'm resident who loves this city. I'm taking off time from my job and giving up my nights and weekends to help with the transition because I believe this city has so much potential. Rob is the right person to lead us but he needs all our help after eight years of disinvestment by the current administration.

Rob will bring integrity, commitment, smarts and experience. Will that be enough? We'll see. He needs to focus on small victories and improvements. We need to give him time and respect.

Tkazyik left the City in a mess. Will be hard for the new Mayor to make the City whole again. John Tkazyik, please stay away from the City.... you have done enough damage here.

Is Molinaro going to have his own seat in the Mayors Office?

Get ready. The county has officially begun the takeover...

Why did he quit the race for state senator? It seems that he "settled" for Poughkeepsie Mayor once he realized he couldn't win.

I just watched this interview. Does he think he is going to "hire the best possible people" Who is really going to move to Poughkeepsie and be the city manager...finance director?

Good Point. How many people on his transitional team are county employees? Rolinson is going to be a puppet for the county.

John C. Tkazyik (X-Mayor) was a nitwit at best. Thanks largely to him, Poughkeepsie has become a pit, a battleground... Hopefully, this new Mayor will help get the city moving in the right direction again. I pitty Orange County.. they were foolish enough to hire John C. Tkazyik.

Rob is exactly what we need. He isn't even in office yet and he is working to find a new permanent city manager and setting an agenda to get the city back to the beautiful place it was and can be again.
Rob will lead this City. We have been missing a responsive leader who will work with other municipalities and the County. Rob will do this. He will address the crime, embraces prevention and together with the County Executuve out County center will shine once again.
