Where does all the sales tax money from car purchases go? How much money is funneled into JobsOhio? Hard to believe we need to raise taxes at all if these are the good times?

When are we going to see funding for school changed and property taxes stop paying for schools and a state tax take it place? This was to change years ago.

Just another example of why Kasich needs to go. Who gets to decide what is a 'sin' and gets taxed more? Our wonderful friends in government, and that is just wrong. Raising taxes on cigarettes only hurts the poor. Studies have shown that a larger percentage of poor people smoke and raising the cost won't get them to stop. It will just take money away from other things. They need to cut spending, not raise taxes. Unfortunately the career politicians we have in office have no idea what goes on in the 'real world'. They are pampered and sheltered from the day to day life of most citizens. I hope the legislature rejects all of this garbage.

Kasich raised sales tax one half percent when he became governor. He also passed expenses to counties and cities. Check your property tax to see how he snuck in that increase.

The state and government hasn't help me raise a drug addict's kids for the past 14 years who have mental health issues because the state didn't hold the mother accountable for child endangering, neglect, abuse, etc. You gave the drug addict more help than the helpless children who will suffer their entire lives. Save money and quit giving Narcan to those who choose to abuse and overdose only to continue to destroy the lives of everyone else around them. Take the money you need from the drug dealers and addicts.

Everyone should pay the same tax on what they purchase. Quit trying to make "sin" goods pay for everyone else. BE FAIR!! And reduce expenses to keep the base rate low. No one is getting raises that keep up with all the annual increases across the board, so our living standard continues to reduce.

Cut expenses. Oh NO.....that can't be done. Instead, since I make more than $80K because I've worked my a$$ off lately, I'll get no tax break, and higher sales taxes, etc., etc. More of the same. Be glad to see Kasich go.

This is the same old bull ! Take Take and Take more from hard working americans . Politicians think they have all the answers when in fact they themselves have created most of the problems we face as a State and as a nation . Craete a problem through terrible policies and then jump in with more regulations and taxes ! I wish i could just take more money from somone when im finacialy straped ! Give us a break !
